I finally had a Niagara Falls tour last week, however, I must let you know that you should be cautious once you choose your tour company. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful and amazing, but just a good tour could guarantee you could fully enjoy the beautiful scenery.
As a must be seen, Niagara Falls has turned into a world-wide popular scenic spot. Many tour companies have Niagara tour line, so I have booked one which has the name of so-called king travel. However, I had not been happy with it through my whole tour, and I would never choose it again.
I came across many problems in this unhappy tour. The bus would pick me up from the hotel at 8:45 am on the tour schedule, so I got up at 8:00 each morning. When I brushed my teeth, my cell phone was ringing, and I was told to obtain downstairs at this time. I had already confirmed the time with the tour guide the day before yesterday, however, he didn’t tell me that the pick up time would be 30 minutes sooner than the predetermined time. THEREFORE I had to hurry up and obtain on the bus.
The staff were very rude. I paid an extra fee for $80, and I asked why they charged me $160 rather than specified $80. They told me that there was a growing fee of the tax. But finally it turned out that I had covered 2 people. Though they repaid the money if you ask me, they didn’t apologize to me. Moreover, they pretended to be modest in front of the passengers, they were very rude in private.
My tour guide was an middle-aged man. He was not friendly and informative. Rather than explaining the scenery and formations of Niagara Falls to us, he tried his best to persuade us to get souvenirs. Furthermore, our group cancelled the scenic spot – the flower clock, as the tour guide said that we didn’t have sufficient time. On the way back to our hotel, the tour bus didn’t stop directly in front of the hotel, so we’d to walk a quarter-hour to get back. I was very tired following a day’s sightseeing, and I visited bed when I entered my room.
